Student Customer Care Assistant — 15–20 hours per week

OMHU is looking for a structured and service-minded Student Customer Care Assistant to join our team in Copenhagen.

We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants hands-on experience within customer service and e-commerce.

Remote work is not possible. This role is based at our office on Hejrevej in Copenhagen NV.

Who are we looking for?

You are organised, curious, and enjoy communicating with people. You take ownership of your tasks, pay attention to detail, and are comfortable using technology as part of your daily work.

If you are also interested in design and furniture, you will feel right at home at OMHU.

To thrive at OMHU, you should be able to stay organized and communicate clearly in a dynamic environment. We imagine you have the following competencies:

  • Are currently enrolled in a university or similar educational programme.
  • Speak Danish and English fluently.
  • Speak a third language (German, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, French, Spanish, or similar) – this is a strong advantage.
  • Experience from customer service or similar roles. E commerce experience is a plus.
  • Have an interest in customer service, e-commerce, AI, or operations.
  • Are comfortable using technology and digital tools such as ChatGPT.
  • A proactive and solution oriented mindset with strong ownership and responsibility.
  • Are available to work approximately 15–20 hours per week.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy finding practical solutions.

What will you do?

The most important thing you will do is create delighted customers. Day to day this looks like:

  • Handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat through Gorgias.
  • Managing and resolving claim cases and ensuring fast, correct, and fair solutions.
  • Using AI tools such as ChatGPT to assist with routine inquiries and optimize macros.
  • Helping maintain high quality and consistency across customer interactions.
  • Collaborating closely with logistics, warehouse, and product teams to solve delivery, product, and return related questions.
